Roman 4th-5th Century Silver "Comma Knife" with offset prong and long twisted handle and comma shaped ends. Rare and attractive. Reference: Palladium Auction No. 15, 9-25-1997, page 14, item A74., Roman Artifacts found in Britain, page 59, item PICM163. Thought to have been used for shellfish. 8 3/4 inches long.
