Set of Six Colonial Philadelphia Silver Bird Back Tablespoons, c. 1780. By Abraham DuBois. Original shaded block letter monogram A#L. Silversmith's mark is A. DUBOISE in a rectangle. Abraham DuBois was an outstanding Philadelphia silversmith and merchant. These spoons are of the best quality. Bird back decoration is crisp. Each spoon tip is magnificent. Each spoon is 9 inches.
