Early Colonial Silver Porringer by Samuel Vernon of Newport, Rhode Island. Circa 1725-30. Condition is extraordinarily good. Vernon was born in December 1683 and died in 1737. He became a Freeman in 1714. He was appointed by the Assembly to settle land controversy in 1726 when he also assisted the Governor in investigating health conditions of the colony. Very rare. Colonial Philadelphia Silver Pint Size Cann, c. 1765, by Joseph Richardson. In pristine condition. Original owners engraved initials on bottom, J flower T, I pellet R marked twice on bottom in a rectangle for Joseph Richardson. See Beldon, mark d. Scratch weight on bottom is 14-3-12. Great patina and weight, 15 ounces. Provenance note from collector of approval by Winterthur in 4-18-1989.
Very Rare Colonial Footed Salt by Myer Myers of New York City. Circa 1760-70. Original engraved feathered script monogram P. Marked twice Myers on bottom in script in conforming rectangle. Some wear to marks. Condition is excellent: Feet have been pushed in slightly, but not a problem. A couple of very minor dents in body. No rips or tears or restorations. 2 inches high x 2 3/4 inches wide.

Unusual Philadelphia Silver Sugar Tongs, c. 1833 by Hildeburn & Watson. Shell grips, wonderful wriggle, routlette and bright cut decoration on the bow as well as on the arms. Stylized flower and folliage on each rim. Marked HILDEBURN & WATSON in an overall cartouche with an eagle pseudo mark. Exceptional piece.6 1/2 inches.
