German Meissen Porcelain Marcolini Period Shallow Bowl, c. 1780. Beautiful floral decoration, fluted gold rim. No chips, cracks or restorations. Very minor gold rim wear and a flaw at the rim in the making. Marked with blue underglaze crossed swords with a star below the sword pommels. 9 1/8 inches.

Saucer has some fluting inside. Both pieces are marked with blue underglaze crossed swords. Cup has two incised lines done at factory for being slightly flawed. Saucer, 5 1/4 inches; cup, 1 3/4 inches.
