Rare German Furstenberg Handpainted Porcelain Cabinet Cup and Saucer, dated 1877. Beautiful gold work and painting of a square in Furstenberg. Some very minor wear to gold. Painting is extraordinary. Even though there is some wear to gold, I would consider the condition to be perfect. No chips, cracks or restorations. Saucer, 6 1/4 inches wide; cup, 2 3/4 inches high.
Very Rare Meissen Footed Egg Cup, c. 1780. Imperial yellow ground is very rare. This little piece could very well have been for pidgeon eggs which were a delicacy at the time. Condition is excellent except for a very tiny chip in the foot. Marked with blue underglaze crossed swords and a star. 1 5/8 inches high.
