Colonial American Pewter Footed Salt. Circa last quarter of the 18th century. Attributed to Peter Young of New York City and Albany. His work was always of top quality and originality. A worn mark is visible and you can still make out Peter and a crowned rose. Very good condition. 2 1/2 inches high. Base, 2 1/4 inches square.
