English Stoneware Relief Molded Pitcher, c. 1820. Attributed to Hicks, Meigh & Jackson. "Smear glaze" used when clarity of detail was necessary. Fantastic relief molding of the neck and base with dolphins, shells and Neptune with crossed trident and shovel.
